Terms of Use – Connacht Pods Roscommon Ireland

  1. Definitions

  • Supplier refers to ConnachtPods.com.
  • Customer refers to the person signing the sales agreement.
  • Building means, the wooden structure outlined in the Sales Order.
  1. Price

The price appears on the signed Sales Order. However, if the customer requests changes in quantity, delivery location, or product specifications after signing, the supplier may adjust the price. Therefore, customers should carefully confirm all details before signing.

  1. Terms of Use

3.1 The customer agrees to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit before production begins. Once the supplier receives both the signed Sales Order and deposit, the build process starts immediately.

3.2 In case of breach, the supplier may apply previous payments to cover costs or liabilities.

3.3 The remaining 50% is due on the day of delivery. Additionally, the supplier may issue an account summary showing all payments made and remaining amounts.

  1. Ownership Rights

4.1 The supplier transfers ownership of the building only after receiving full payment.
4.2 If the balance remains unpaid, the supplier can repossess and resell the unit. For this reason, the customer grants access rights to the supplier or its agents to retrieve the building if necessary.

  1. Delivery Conditions

5.1 Delivery dates in the Sales Order are estimates only.
5.2 The supplier does not accept responsibility for delays, damages, or third-party losses resulting from late delivery or contract cancellation.
5.3 Customers clear, prepare, and provide accessible delivery sites as agreed.
5.4 The supplier delivers the goods to the kerb side if the customer restricts access. Furthermore, the supplier may deduct failed delivery costs from the deposit and delay redelivery until the customer provides proper site access.

  1. Warranty Coverage

6.1 We offer a 10-year warranty on fully insulated pods, covering standard wear and tear.
6.2 However, moving the pod without written approval will void the warranty.
6.3 Similarly, altering parts or skipping maintenance may also void coverage.

  1. Measurements

All dimensions listed on ConnachtPods.com are external measurements. Since insulation may slightly reduce internal space, we recommend measuring the pod on-site after installation.

  1. Liability & Exclusions

8.1 We are not liable for delays, failed deliveries, or cancellations that cause direct or indirect damages.
8.2 Moreover, if the customer does not prepare the site as agreed, extra charges may apply.
8.3 The customer causes any damage resulting from failure to meet the site requirements, and the supplier does not accept responsibility for it.

  1. Planning Permissions

9.1 The customer must obtain any local planning permission or approvals required by law.
9.2 If the delivery requires access through a neighboring property, the customer secures permission and accepts full responsibility for any associated risks.

  1. Additional Works

10.1 We will perform any extra work agreed in writing using supplier-approved specifications.
10.2 If third-party electricians or plumbers alter the pod, we do not accept liability for any damage they cause during their work.
10.3 If someone else builds the foundation and does not follow our specifications, we do not accept responsibility for any resulting defects or issues.

  1. Contractor Referrals

Any contractor referrals we provide are for courtesy only. Consequently, we do not guarantee the quality or conduct of these third-party services.

  1. Returns Policy

We do not accept returns on any pod or related product.

  1. Production Lead Time

Lead times range from 8 to 12 weeks, although they may vary based on order volume. Please plan ahead accordingly.

  1. Insulation Effects

After insulation, internal dimensions may differ slightly. For accuracy, field-measure your pod after installation is complete.

  1. Product Finish

We deliver all pods as turnkey packages unless your Sales Order states otherwise. Therefore, you can expect a ready-to-use product upon delivery.
